The planters are so good! They add colour to otherwise cold surroundings. The boxwood planters would be a goner in our area: the boxtree moth (an unwelcome immigrant from China) has created havoc around here. There are remedies but it needs constant vigilantce. It’s certainly worth with old specimen but not with relatively young ones in pots. The larger, old ones pose the added difficulty that the moths might settle relatively high up were they are difficult to spot until it is too late.

Wow, I had no idea. I had to cut my boxwood back because it was covering the metre outside my house and the metre reader was having a hard time.
