Macro Monday – Peaking Through the Snow

…after yesterday’s freak snowstorm

A snowstorm in early November in Toronto is highly unlikely. Yesterday we had snow that lasted all day. The temperature hovered just above freezing and the roads were still warm so the snow melted when it hit the pavement. As the day went on, however, the snow started to stick and it became necessary to clean off the car.

It’s always unusual to see snow when most of the trees still have leaves and now on top of the snow we’re seeing these same leaves starting to fall on this fresh blanket of snow.

Pull Up a Seat on a Rainy Day

On our recent trip to London, we would often walk along Church Street, close to our Airbnb. On our last day we experienced our first rainfall in two weeks. I call that a win when visiting London, England. It didn’t, however, stop us from going for a walk.
