Sketchbook Revival – Day 7

thanks to Karen Abend for hosting these wonderful free on-line classes

I haven’t done all the classes but there are so many to choose from. On Day 7 the featured artist Juliette Meeks and she gave a lesson on painting and drawing with watercolour. Our subject was a bunch of flowers. I normally sketch out my paintings first with ink and then paint the colour in but Juliette had us go straight to the watercolour and created our shapes without the aid of pencil or pen. I enjoyed the process but need to practise more.C87-CED9-C-1531-4-E8-F-A24-D-15143-AB9-D17-D-1-201-a

Saturday Sculpture – April 11, 2020

….thanks to Mind Over Matter for hosting Saturday Sculpture

I love this sculpture in front of the Design Museum in London, England. The artist is Eduardo Paolozzi. This photo was taken on our trip to London in October 2018.5-B7-BE807-88-FC-4-DE6-9629-4-D72-A28-AB18-B-1-201-a

Ornament in a Cupboard – Day 9

…thanks to Leanne Cole for hosting 30 Day From Home Challenge

This Easter is so different from other years and because I’m not seeing our granddaughter I hadn’t taken out any of our Easter decorations. This challenge got me thinking that despite the fact that there will be no family here that is not a reason to not decorate the house.40-D186-C0-6-DC0-487-F-9-A35-D17-C8-E052-B5-D
