After the Labour Day Weekend it gets pretty quiet at the cottage. Once the kids are back at school the rush to get to the cottage diminishes considerably. Lucky me!

Every Wednesday the bakers get together to shape the bread and bake it in the wood-fired oven. After it’s finished it goes to the Farmers’ Market to be sold.

On my drive to the cottage today I stopped at Harris Farms to pick up some corn on the cob. I found seven heads of cabbage and seven jars of jam for today’s challenge.
