The child is my granddaughter over the years. She is now 8 and I’m going to spend some time with her this weekend. Haven’t seen her since last Christmas.

My granddaughter in the photo is now going on nine. Her taste in ice-cream has changed over the years. On Tuesday she ordered a chocolate soft serve dipped in chocolate and rolled in sprinkles.

She looks absolutely lovely in that photo! It’s funny how kids’ tastes evolve just like that, always changing and surprising us.

Her personality is also changing as she heads into puberty. I can’t believe that I bought her a bra this week and she’s not even 9 yet. She was delighted.
