Weather for the Dogs (and their owners)

…..spring like conditions continue in the Northern Hemisphere

The sun has come out and the temperatures have climbed well above freezing for more than a week now and it looks like will continue for another week or more. On Sunday my husband and I drove to High Park and took a nice long walk in the off leash area where dogs and their owners can walk, run and play. Earlier in the day I walked in the neighbourhood, where I also came across some dogs and lots of swans.

In High Park there were a lot more people and dogs and the walk was quite challenging due to the steep hill at the end of the walk. When you start downhill you know that at some point you have to go up again.

    • I’ve seen lots of birds in this area but never so many of one kind and never this many swans. My neighbour went to take a look when I told her about it and she was quite excited because she saw a pair of trumpeter swans which are suppose to be quite rare. Not sure I would even recognize them but I’m going to take a closer look at the photos. The weather has been great and it looks like it’s going to hang in there for another week or more. Maybe not as warm but above freezing.

      • I don’t think I would know a trumpeter from a mute swan either … until they start calling ๐Ÿ˜‰
I’ve only heard trumpeter swans call twice, and it gave me chills both times!! ๐Ÿ’•
