On my way to close up the cottage this weekend I stopped at Harris Farms. The pumpkin displays were amazing and they let the cows out on the pasture next to the displays. The children loved being able to get this close to the animals. One of them let her bladder empty and a little girl shrieked ‘look Mom, they pee’.

After baking today I rummaged through the garden at the Inn and pulled some glorious carrots that had been planted earlier in the year. Some were very small and others were lovely and plump. I grouped them in sevens and here’s what I came up with.

Seven Crime Novels

Visiting our local library this past week I noticed a table set up with a selection of crime novels. Did I choose one? No, even though I like reading this genre of book, I passed this time. I have two books on the go and I have six books on hold.
