I love all your photos. For some reason the quilt photo gave me chills…in a good way. I love the variety of your photos and every one is special in some way. I want to know the story of the children holding up their pictures and love the seashells and kiddies and piled rocks…the piled snow.

The seashells were a display at a museum, the piled rocks were in my neighbourhood where someone decided to take the rocks and make all these towers on the beach and the children are from one of our annual outdoor concerts that we used to have in front of our school. The rocks eventually all came down and I don’t know if the concerts continued when my friend and I retired.

When we used to Kayak on the Klamath river, my husband used to pull over and pile rocks like this. I’ve always wondered if they are still there. Probably not. Looong time ago.

I have seen some that stick around for years. They usually have some indigenous meaning and tend to be more respected.
