….thanks to Jez for hosting Water, Water Everywhere https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2021/05/31/reflections-7-water-water-everywhere-80/
I’ve posted many photos of Lake Ontario at the bottom of my street. Today I walked a little further east and took a couple of shots towards downtown Toronto. Then I went a little further east and took a shot of the area I had just come from.

I loved how turquoise the water was today (completely untouched…this is the colour).
Fantastic colours; love all the shots, but I think my favourite is the last with the empty sea stretching to the horizon 😃

Thanks Jez. My father used to call the lake his ‘ocean’ and I have had visitors ask me what ocean they were looking at.

No wonder, the lake is huge 😃

They don’t call it a Great Lake for nothing.

Wow, these views are stunning. I want to be out on a little row boat checking out all the views, dragging my hand in the water.

This lake is very changeable. There are days when it looks like I live on the ocean because the waves are so big and dangerous. The day I took these shots it was lovely and calm and we do get kayakers out when it’s like this.

I imagine. We still haven’t been out in a Kayak here, but I think we are going with our neighbors next week.

Have fun Marsha. My hips have always been too wide to fit into a regular kayak. One of these years I’m going to buy one that I can sit on top of.

That’s what I need, too. I’m super wide. 🙂 Speaking of getting out of things. My neighbors, both of whom are much heavier than I am bounded out of the kayaks when we went. They pretty much had to drag me out by my arms. 🙂

Oh Marsha I can’t even imagine that.

You just see my face, LOL 🙂 Mom gave me hips that don’t match the rest of my frame. Then I’ve added my own padding to dem bones. 🙂

I’m the same.

LOL Not only that, I was promised that big hips would make it much easier to have children. I never had any. What a waste of big hips! 🙂

I was told the same and I needed a C-section for all my kids.

Now that adds insult to injury. What’s up with that???? 😦

I remember how shocked I was when the doctor told me that my hips were too narrow for me to deliver naturally.

Haha! That would be a shock for me!! I’ve been working for the last twenty years trying to level the playing field. Now everything is wide!
