Both great shots, but if I had to pick it would be the portrait one; more detail in the foreground with more of the sky in the shot. Also the two leafless tree are perfectly positioned for the rule of 3 😃

Thank you Jez. I think I have to agree. I took the shot because of the sky so that makes perfect sense.
