…thanks to Ann-Christine for hosting this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge
Candid shots are the ones where your subject is unaware that they’re being photographed. There are photographers who specialize in street photography where they almost exclusively take candid shots.

Thank you for joining in! I just have to ask you what they are doing in the second shot? And I love the little girl caught in a book despite having more parcels to open!

It was part of a juggling act on the street and one of the audience members was trying to follow the juggler’s instructions. It was pretty amusing. I noticed that you’re going by Leya. Should I change the name at the top of my post or are you Ann-Christine as well?

Oh dear…My name is Ann-Christine and my blog’s name is Leya – so it does not matter which you use!

Thanks Tina. I love getting candid shots but I’m a little hesitant to take photos of people I don’t know.

Thanks Amy. That little girl is my granddaughter. She is normally very aware of the camera but as soon as she opened that present on her birthday this weekend she was fully engaged in the book, even with all those unopened gifts around her.
