My last mystery plant has lovely burgundy leaves. I’ve seen this before but the name escapes me. Any ideas?

Mystery Plant Number Two

…..thanks for all the suggestions on how to avoid the new format by going to the Dashboard instead

After a frustrating hour trying to figure out how to navigate the new format I decided to not post any more photos until help arrived. Well it did and now I’ll be going to the Dashboard instead of using the New Post button on the top right hand corner of the screen. What a difference! Thanks everyone. I fixed the images of the orange lily as well.

Well I think that the last mystery plant is a Bleeding Heart. For the one I’m posting tonight I have no clue as to what it is. I suspect that it is a plant that flowers in the spring because the blossoms have withered away. Any ideas?

Mystery Box

…..this year a parent from my school gifted me a box of plants

The problem is I don’t know what I’ve planted in my garden. The only plant that I’m familiar with is the succulent. I’m hoping if I post some photos of my newly acquired treasures some of my followers will be able to enlighten me as to what I have.

This is the box that the plants came in.

The plant on top is the one I’m most curious about. I’ve planted it an area with partial in the morning and full sunlight in the afternoon.

Any ideas as to what I have? I’ll post photos of the others when they become a little more established in my garden.

When I got home from work today it was pouring down rain. I was worried that my peony bush would be flattened if we got much more rain so when the weather let up a bit I went outside and took some pictures of the peonies that have finally opened up. There’s usually a bit more red in this plant. Maybe it will show up in another day or two.
