…thanks to Becca Givens for hosting Sunday Trees
Here in the northern hemisphere (Toronto, Canada) the trees are just beginning to blossom. By next week this magnolia tree should be in full bloom.

Becca Givens from On Butterfly Wings with Buttercup Tea has invited me to join the Seven Day Nature Challenge. Here is my Day 3 entry. If anyone would like to join the challenge let me know and I will include you in the challenge. Today I would like to invite Derrick J. Knight to join the fun. I’ve only recently started following Derrick but he seems to be an avid gardener and he’s been blogging almost as long as I have.

….I love these large spiky mums

…..sorry to be so late this week for Cee’s Share Your World
Wanting something to quench your thirst, what would you drink?
The best thing to quench my thirst is plain old water but if the weather is cold I might take that water and brew up a cup of tea.
What made you feel good this past week?
I made a drawing and painting this week that made me feel very good.
When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?
In the winter I like to wear socks and in the summer I go barefoot.
Would you rather live where it is always hot or always cold?
I don’t think I’d like to live in an area that is always cold but I do enjoy brisk cool days. On the other hand I’d enjoy hot weather occasionally but I would find it boring after awhile. I like the changing seasons and the variable weather that goes with it here in the northern hemisphere.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful for a short work week this week and that everyone at school arrived safely during the ice storm. Last week I was able to do a fair bit of drawing and some painting and I am grateful for that.
This week I’m looking forward to spending Easter weekend with my family. I’m cooking a big meal later today so I’d better get to bed so that I can get up early enough to put the turkey in the oven.
Cheers! Happy Easter everyone!
….Spring can’t be too far off when these beauties start to appear in the markets

….I love the intensity of the colour in this flower

….it’s been awhile since I’ve posted flower pictures but the bouquet my husband bought me this week was exceptionally pretty

….this week’s theme for WPC is weight or weightless
…..one of my favourite things to photograph are flowers
Do you have any photos of yellow orange flowers? If so, you should consider joining Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge.
