Most of these animals were in my backyard.

  1. Lucky you. How is it that you have so many animals in your backyard? Wish we’d had a better shot of the baby coon. One of my favorite pets ever was a baby coon rescued from the dogs that killed his mother. We had him for two years before we could finally release him to the wild.

    • Marsha just told me she was bitten by a racoon. We live right by the lake and there are lots of creeks that into it from further north. Apparently wildlife follow the creek and many animals end up in the city. Two years ago I followed a deer into our neighbourhood. We also have fox and coyote. Last year I posted photos of the silver fox (actually black and white) that was strolling down the street towards the park. I saw her again earlier this spring.
