That bug looks like a black corn cob. What is he eating or making? Soft and fuzzy look a little prickly, too. 🙂

I’m not sure what kind of bug that is but he’s crawling over a broken piece of a wasp nest. You’re right that the bud also looks prickly but I purposely touched it and was surprised how soft it was.
