Cooling Off in the Dog Days of Summer

…my Frances is getting old but she still enjoys a dip in the Lake

I love walking to the beaches over at Col. Sam Smith Park but Frances is finding the walk a little too long so I helped her into the car and we drove as close to the park entrance as possible. She must have sensed that we were going somewhere special because she walked quicker than she normally does.

She wasn’t disappointed. She headed straight for the water. Ah, heaven!5-B3-AF035-C493-451-B-B999-CAB8-C830-F36-B

    • I’m heading back to the water tomorrow, early in the morning with Frances. I need it as much as she does. After living here for almost 42 years without air conditioning my husband is finally looking at having it installed.
