Until this post, I had totally forgotten about carousels. Your gorgeous photo evoked a specific magical moment in time that I had not thought about in years. It was when I took my children on their first carousel ride.
I love this small ride in Lucca and have rode on it myself a few times although I always wondered if they had use feather dusters as an accessory on the heads as I rode it!
Magical for children and adults. 🙂

It is is a huge thrill, because you experience it through their eyes. It is as if you are seeing it for the first time, too.
