That first one certainly looks like an alien face with bulging eyes. Not sure I’d want to eat it, whatever it is.

I recognize the carrot and the pumpkin, but is the first photo a giant beet and the second a giant turnip???

I think they were both rutabagas. They look nothing like the nice round ones we buy in the supermarket.
