The Toronto and CN Tower shot brings back memories. There was an amusement park of sorts and as I remember a huge golf ball which house a giant (we call them iMax Movie Screen) on 1976. I can remember the movie I saw but cannot remember what I had for tea two days ago. So Sad! 😀
The place was called Ontario Place and it’s still there but there is talk of removing it. People are afraid it may be replaced with condos. Hopefully not. A combination of recreational space with some residences would be okay. I’ll miss the iMax theatre but I have to admit I haven’t been there in years.
Ontario Place…Ah! Yes…I remember it welll! So sad to hear ‘they’ are considering removing it. After all this time I can still remember having a wonderful time there. As for the iMax ..we have one in Melbourne and I am sure I am the only person in Victoria who has not been there! Time for a Sunday morning cuppa.
