Square Odds – An Odd Number of Shoes With No Mates

….thanks to Becky B for hosting Square Odd https://beckybofwinchester.com/2022/02/27/the-square-odds-27/

When we talk about odd socks or odd shoes we usually mean that we can’t find the matching sock or shoe. I know that store displays often only put out one of a pair, probably to prevent theft.

A Trio of Odd Numbers – Square Odds, February 26, 2022

thanks to Becky B for hosting Square Odds this February, https://beckybofwinchester.com/2022/02/26/the-square-odds-26/

It’s not hard to find an odd number because half the numbers in the world are odd (not divisible by 2) but find an odd number that is made up of only odd numbers is a different story.

Another Odd Window Display – Square Odds

This is not a store window for a pet store, toy store or sports store. It’s like the window dresser stopped in mid-stream and walked off the job.

When I go to a upscale department store the last thing I expect to see is a display of oddly coloured and oddly arranged fuzzy slippers.

Coloured Snow – Square Odds

Clearly the snow is coloured by humans and I suspect there are children in this house who had a wonderful time creating these colourful discs of ice to add to the snow bank on their front yard.

My first odd square is a peculiar sight – colourful flowers coming from the snow. Of course they are fake flowers. We don’t get flowers in February in Canada.
