….thanks to Jude for hosting the Life in Colour Challenge https://traveltalk.me.uk/2021/11/07/life-in-colour-32/
Black or grey are technically not colours and the challenge is not to post black and white photos but objects that are black or grey in a colourful world.

Beach stones….excellent idea. I bet I’ve got some of those! Great ideas all round ☺️

Beach stones are so interesting and actually have lots of different colours within if you look closely. Thanks for the comment Cath.

That’s an intriguing sculpture. And those beach stones are rather lovely. I have seen black squirrels in Canada so I assume they are native to north America?

The black squirrel is actually the eastern grey squirrel, but with melanism, and is most common in Ontario, Canada. It is, however, indigenous to all of North American and Eurasia. I didn’t know this before; I had to look it up.

Thanks Marsha. I wanted to go out and find some new photos but I figured out of 30 000 photos I should have some black and/or grey subjects.
