Great collection! My favourites would be the bee and the reflective mirror, thanks for sharing 🙂

I love patterns and find them throughout my artwork, whether it is intentional or not. I think being autistic makes me even more fond of certain kinds of patterns and balance in my art.

Thanks Maranda. Does you like of certain patterns change or have you always liked the same patterns? I’ve taught autistic students who would perseverate on one thing for a long time and then eventually it would change to something else.

I like a variety of things, so I would say it can change. I would say that what matters most to me isn’t necessarily the pattern itself, but the sense of balance it gives when viewing it. Some things may not even look like patterns at first, but if you pay close attention you notice repeating themes.

One of my favorite patterns are the way sunflower seeds look inside the flower.

I agree. Nature makes beautiful patterns.
