I spend so much time seeking the wisdom of the ancients, but magic is a child.

Thank you Patrick. I’ve seen your challenge on other people’s blogs but this theme resonated with me. When asked about child rearing our advice is always read, read, read and read some more to your children.

I agree. The sooner you instil the love of reading, the more children will want to read. At least that was true for my own children.

It certainly helped our children as they were growing up. They were never bored if they had a book to read.
