Didn’t think I’d find blue flowers, certainly not natural ones but as luck would have it nature provided me with these lovely blue wildflowers.

Wow these are beautiful. I have grown blue delphinium before. They smell like carnations so sweet and lovely, they remind me of these. 🙂

  This is called Viper’s Bugloss or Blueweed. No one seems to know where the term bugloss comes from.

Wonderful . . . . we see it in Portugal quite a bit but I’ve never taken a shot this close up. I need to rectify that on our return!
