Very pretty. I have been impressed with the abundance of yellow daylillies since we arrived in North Carolina yesterday. I had a lily growing in my yard in Texas I propogated from seed collected on the roadside downstream from an old farm. My mom called the cream and pink lilies, Milk & Wine lilies. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for that bit of personal information. I always love hearing people’s stories and I really like the name Milk and Wine lilies. I used to have a lot of the yellow day lilies in my garden but they didn’t come back this year. The orange ones are very hardy and I get more and more every year.
