Maybe someone can tell me why my cherry tomatoes are still green after all the heat we’ve had lately. It’s true what they say about ‘red sky at night’. Today was a beautiful sunny day.
Thanks Derrick. The sky changed so quickly. When I first went out there was a great rainbow but the dog pulled me and when I turned around it was already gone.
Our tomatoes remain green, although we haven’t had such a good summer. But husband picks them and after a day or two inside they ripen – or else I just use them green to add a bit of tartness to stir fries and salads. Still a few good days here, but autumn is beginning to creep in as the days shorten dramatically.
Great shots, especially the sunsets

It is suppose to be quite warm this week but if they don’t redden by the weekend I’ll bring them in and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions.

Your flower photos are so beautiful. And I love those skies too.

Thanks Corinne. I love my one and only dahlia plant and I thought the flowers were particularly lovely when they were wet.
