New Flower (August 11, 2015) – Climbing Hydrangea

….years ago I saw this plant in my neighbours garden and immediately fell in love

Little did I know how difficult it was to grow. Apparently you have to be very patient. It takes years for the roots to become established and only then will it start to climb. Now I’m having trouble training it to climb upward instead of outward over the walkway.

Such a pretty color! I have a honeysuckle that is taking over our deck so I understand! 🙂

    That’s a good question. I think it’s yellow but I’ll have to go out back in the morning and check. Thanks for asking about my husband. He’s feeling fine at the moment. His surgery is on Friday so I know he’s getting a little anxious. He’s trying to put on a brave face but he’s not quite himself.
