That building is an icon in Toronto. It is one of my favourite buildings in he city. It’s called the Flatiron building but it’s the design that gives it its name. There are flatiron buildings in New York, Chicago, Denver, Stockholm and Liverpool. These are just a few of many.
The photos in the first row (except the city view from the west end of the city) are all on Bloor St. by the Museum. The glass facade is the addition to the ROM. The second row is the addition to the OCAD university and the third photo is from the ferry looking back at the city. The third row is the view of the city looking north from the top floor of the AGO and the photo next to it is Koerner Hall, the new addition to the Royal Conservatory of Music on Bloor St.
My favourite is the first photo. Love how you have captured the reflections in the glass.

I love the rounded brick building at the end! Thanks again for all your comments on my troublesome first chapter of Girls on Fire. 🙂

I recognized the Flatiron building but, my gosh, I don’t recognize ANYthing else. I used to work within a block of there …
