Seagulls are typically known as ‘scavengers of the beach’ and can be quite a nuisance at take-out restaurants and food trucks that are close to the water. The seagulls that I love are the ones close to home where there are no lunches to steal. Sometimes people like to feed them and they can create quite a scene as they dive for food.

I’ve never seen people actually sit in these chairs but I can imagine on a nice day it would be lovely to look over the lake and the city.

….We’ve had exceptionally warm weather in April and with the mild winter that we had the daffodils appeared early

I love walking through the Colonel Sam Smith Park in South Etobicoke (west end of Toronto) and strolling along the walkways but I also like to take some of the side trails to see where they take me.

I love the waves on Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay where our cottage is. I won’t be going to the cottage for at least another month but the lake by our house never fails to provide some magnificent waves.
