…it’s been 14 years since I signed up with WordPress

I started thinking I might do this for a year or two. If someone had told me I’d still be here 14 years later I would never have believed it.

My followers have seen me navigate my last years as a teacher and how I have explored retirement, my journey into making art and improving my photographic skills, enjoying three weddings of my children and the births of my two granddaughters and all the wonderful travels we’ve had to Europe and across Canada.

I have also shared some of the more difficult periods in the last 14 years like my struggles with my weight, my husband’s ups and downs with his numerous chronic illnesses and the death of my father. On the bright side the good have definitely outnumbered the bad.

This takes us up to 2020.
