Every winter a tree comes down on our lot at the cottage. It might be due to age, infestation, crowding, disease or a number of other reasons. This one fell across our pathway to the beach but our kind neighbour got out her saw and cleared the path for us.

It’s funny which ones decide to fall. In comparison to the other trees on my lot it’s pretty small.

We were lucky in CA. We only lost part of one tree. If the ones in front ever decide to fall, bye bye house. 🙂
