….I thoroughly miss baking at the inn twice a week
It’s been more than a year now that the bakers and I at Montgomery’s Inn have gotten together to make and bake bread. I miss the friendships and the actual physical attributes of making dough and baking bread in a wood burning oven.
My one bright spot of the week is when I can drive to the inn to pick up fresh vegetables, eggs and meat from the Farmers’ Market. For the last two weeks the vendors have been able to set up outside. This week I took time to walk around the Inn and enjoy the views.

We have the farmers markets here on Tuesday and Thursday.

The vendors here alternate weeks and there are a number of them who won’t be back till after May. Right now this is a very small market.

It’s looking really bad here. We’re in lockdown and waiting for more restrictions to be announced in less than an hour.

oh no that is not good π¦ so sorry to learn you are about to face restrictions again. We are easing here, but the way everyone is behaving though I am worried that we too will be heading back into restrictions by the summer.

It’s so tiring and now family friends have come down with the virus. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that none of them have to be hospitalized.
