They are quilt squares from all the different ethnic groups across Canada. Each one represents something about their culture.

Thank you for reminding me that I had that catalogue. I took a minute to read about one of the squares and its maker. I think I’ll read about one square every day until I finish the book. There are 263 squares so that will take me close to the end of the year.
