I saw a similar tree on Becca Givens’ Sunday Trees today. I wonder if there’s an tree art movement that I’m not aware of.

Thanks Ann. I saw another one of these tree faces last week, very close to this one and someone in the neighbourhood said she’s seen them all over. I’ll have to keep an eye out for more of these.

I showed a face like that in a blog post from last weekend: https://annkoplow.wordpress.com/2015/04/12/day-832-why-i-felt-better-yesterday/

How did I miss that? I think I was focused on the house. I remembered the little door at the base of the tree.

It certainly catches your attention when you first discover them.

Thanks Cee. It just goes to show what you can miss if you don’t look up once in awhile.

I’ll have to put my ear up to the tree next time I pass it and see if it says anything to me.

Surely there is a story to wrapping a blanket around a tree 😉

Especially such a funky blanket like that, all stars and moons.

HI Carol, funny photos, that tree should have been warm during the winter 🙂

Someone has a sense of humour — or perhaps there is a tree movement happening. It hasn’t reached Australia yet. 🙂
