I knew that if I waited too long the banks would grey up. As for our dog, she absolutely loves the snow. It was difficult to get her to pose for the shot. She would much rather have been running through the deep snow than sitting in it.

Snow makes for lovely photos, but mot keen on the real stuff. Too soon it becomes slushy and dirty, or freezes into hard ruts, making life miserable.
