…..when high winds and age don’t mix well
These poor trees snapped right at the base of the root. I’ve never seen one go down like this. They usually lose large branches or split down the middle.

We had some really high winds blow through 2 weeks ago and they can do that kind of damage. We had 8 hydro poles blown down 2 weeks ago; snapped right at the base. Hydro was out for 2 days.
