….other than the cool temperatures
This morning on our walk we wore long pants and sweaters even though the sun shone brightly. I noticed that the leaves are starting to change, flowers are beginning to whither and seed pods and burrs are everywhere. I took a few photos of the changes. Enjoy!

Somewhere deep in my memory I remember my mother singing a song in German about little ducks swimming in the sea and their tails up in the air. I would have been 3 or 4. Your comment brought that memory forward.

The sights are beautiful but I am sad that the warmer weather is coming to an end. I feel we did not have enough of it this year.

We definitely didn’t have a very warm summer. I still hoping for a bit of Indian summer in October.

September weather here has been almost unbelievable. Lovely warm sunny days, although some trees are showing the beginnings of their autumn colours. We still have lots flowering in the garden because the weather has been so good. Fantastic weather for photography and for exploring.

I’m very envious. Usually September is lovely here but so far it’s been somewhat disappointing.
