….I’m procrastinating
I should be at school getting my classroom ready but I’m really procrastinating this morning. Knowing what awaits me is keeping me here in front of this computer screen. It has to be done though, so I’ll put in a few hours this morning and then head off to my dentist appointment. Wow! Two exciting, fun events on the same day. No wonder I’m procrastinating.

How long is your school year there? It seems that it wasn’t that long ago that you were putting everything away.

We officially start Sept 2 this year and go till the end of June.

Well when I got to school the power went out and never came back on the whole time I was there. I only got an hour’s worth of work done but I did have a nice time catching up with some of my colleagues who were there and with my principal. The dentist appointment was only a cleaning so no big deal and later in the day I did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

I’m afraid so. They said they would try to get some help for me. We’re going to ask the parents to volunteer and I’m going to see if Library services can send some people over to help as well. The library will probably remained closed for a couple of weeks which means that I will have to take my library program into classes and there won’t be any book exchange for awhile.
