Normally raccoons are nocturnal. When you see them wandering around in the middle of the day it is often an indicator of poor health.

He certainly was Derrick. To be honest it made me feel a little uncomfortable. They usually don’t hang around when you get this close.

I think so but my neighbours have a slightly different opinion. They can do a lot of damage and I’ve seen them kill a cat and attack a human. My neighbour who got bitten did come between the mama racoon and her dog.
