….thanks to Becky B for hosting March Squares
Every year we debate whether our Christmas tree will be picked up on the scheduled date or if we’ll be storing it in a corner of the yard until we can get out and cut it up into smaller pieces to be taken away with the regular garbage. This year we were lucky and we didn’t have the problem of keeping it around for six months. Clearly though, some people in the neighbourhood missed the pick-up date or the truck missed the tree on the curb side.
I suppose we’re lucky here as you can put the tree out no matter what day or month it is and they’ll take it away.

We have to cut and bundle wood and branches if we want it taken away.

I have to say that most get picked up in our neighbourhood but for some reason we are often missed.
