At first I couldn’t think why you were congratulating me and then I realized that I said the flower came from my birthday bouquet. I love how long carnations hold up in a bouquet.

Thanks Jill. I don’t think of carnations as having a scent. I’m going to have to pay closer attention. I find more and more commercially grown flowers have had the scent bred out of them. Maybe it’s because so many people are allergic to them.
