The trees are finally blossoming but being this close to the lake I find that most of my flower blooms appear later than neighbourhoods north of me. I’m not complaining; I’m grateful for the little bit of colour and I always appreciate the slightly cooler temperatures down here when the rest of the city is suffering through a heat wave.
