….this weeks challenge is to use the words psycho and drive in a Haiku poem
Driving through red lights
Rolling stops, excessive speed
The psycho is lose
*******************************
The constant drip, drip
drives against the window pane
sleepless, psychotic
*********************************
The car sits idle
while I search madly for keys
driving me psycho
*********************************
If you want to try your hand at haiku check out Ronovan’s blog.
I could not choose between these three as each are really excellent. I love what you have done here with those prompt words from Ronovan.

Thanks Hugh, Sometimes these haiku poems practically write themselves. I wish that someone had taught us about Haiku in school. Maybe I wouldn’t have hated poetry as much as I did.

I’m right with you there about hating writing poetry. We never touched the subject when I was at school and how I now so regret that, but haikus have certainly given me a new lease of writing.
