This shorescape is so beautiful. I’m also looking at our conversation about weight loss. Since we had that back and forth I’ve lost 42 lbs. and I’m determined to keep it off..and to lose more. How are you doing? In your last comment you’d again lost the original 30 lbs. you lost before. You look a perfect weight in the photo.

I’m not sure what photo you’re referring to but unfortunately my weight has fluctuated over the years. The shorescape photo was taken in 2014 and I’m not sure which photo of me you’re looking at. I was pretty happy with where I was at the beginning of COVID but after my Dad died last October my weight has spun out of control. I’m back on track trying to lose the weight again but each time it gets harder. My husband loves me the way I am but I’m more concerned about my overall health. I walk a lot and am back to 10 000 steps or more a day but the weight doesn’t budge unless I consciously make an effort to eat less. I eat healthy foods and I’ve given up sugar for the most part. Yesterday I was gifted a bag of Easter cookies. After sampling a few I put the rest in the freezer. It will always be an ongoing battle for me. I’m happy to hear that you are doing well. Carol

I had a friend whose customers would always bring her cookies or candy. She would always eat one or two, then put the rest in the wastebasket and pour soap over it so she wouldn’t be tempted to go remove it and eat more!
