My favorite flower!

This is a potted variety. I’ve never seen the coloured ones in anyone’s garden.

I have a blue/purple on in my yard, but my mother has 16 in her yard, mostly pinks/purples that were gorgeous. They were the envy of the neighborhood. Sadly when she sold her home the new owner burned them … yes burned them to the ground. It was awful to learn their fate!

Why would anyone do that?

I love hydrangeas, but mine seem to have been hurt by the winter. I doubt I will see flowers this summer – again.

I only recently planted a hydrangea in my garden. Last year was the first year I got quite a few blooms. I hope it survived the winter. I’m going to take a closer look today. Fingers crossed.

Mine have flowered only 1 year out of 4. I’m clearly not doing something right.

I always thought you didn’t have to do anything to them. They’d just come back year after year.
