….I never tire of walking on the beach when I’m at the cottage because the waves, the changing seasons and the clouds keep it interesting

  Thanks Judy. Sometimes the sky can look very ominous and then the clouds just blow over. We seem to have our own little micro climate on the island.

    My Cottage is on Christian Island in Georgian Bay off of Lake Huron. It is home to 1000 permanent residents year round (Beausoleil Band, an indigenous group) and roughly another 1000 cottagers for six months of the year.

  Thank you Aletta. Later in the year the beach can be a very turbulent place but I usually close the cottage for the season before I see that.
