……do you have a favourite place?

Thanks to WordPress for this week’s photo challenge, favourite place.

It’s so hard to choose just one place but if I must I think my favourite place to hang out would be at my cottage on Georgian Bay.

  I can’t wait to get back. Our place isn’t winterized and we have no electricity so we only go in late spring to early autumn and even then it can get pretty cold in the cottage.

Travelling opportunities are seldom available to me, but I remember Georgian Bay looking the same as you’ve photographed it here.

  Georgian Bay is such a large body of water that it’s not going to change much. Our beach is on an Indian reservation and it’s not likely to change as a result of over development. Mother Nature has changed the water levels over the years and we’ve gone from no beach to a vast beach and back to a smaller beach.
