Thanks to Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge
Saturday was a great day…..sunny skies, walking/hiking/running through the woods, walking on the beach and experiencing the joy of my daughter-in-law’s first time in a canoe. I also logged in at 12 000 steps.

Beautiful day. What kind of camera do you use to get these great pictures ?

Believe it or not I just use my iPhone 5. I’ve been wanting a camera that has better zoom capacity but I have to admit that the iPhone produces pretty nice photos and it’s easy to carry around.

I just got iPhone 5 so now I’m hoping my pictures are 1/2 as good as yours are 🙂

If you can find someone to show you some of the features of the phone you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to use. Every time I see my children I learn something new. If you have an Apple store close by they usually give free lessons as well.

This is at my cottage where we share the beach. It’s on Christian Island which is located at the southern end of Georgian Bay which is an offshoot of Lake Huron.

It really was. It wasn’t just the great weather that made it so wonderful. The company that I had made it extra special.

I’d like to be there more often but this summer has been very unusual. When the kids were little we would spend the entire summer up there.
